Cost-Effective Solution: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration emphasizes that the new system is cost-effective for both the government and applicants.
Integration with National Identification: The chip-embedded passport system will be fully integrated with the National Identification Authority’s database for comprehensive identity verification.
Convenient Delivery: In partnership with Ghana Post, the Ministry announced free home delivery services for the new passports. Applicants facing address challenges can also collect their documents at designated post offices.
Nationwide Continuous Service: As part of the government’s 24-Hour Economy initiative, passport offices across the country will operate shift systems to ensure continuous service delivery.
