President John Mahama has voiced his strong belief in Ghana’s economic resurgence, declaring, “Our nation shall rise again!”
He conveyed this hopeful message while delivering a sermon at the Good Friday Miracle Service organized by the Lighthouse Chapel International at the Black Star Square.
During his address, Mahama emphasized that this national restoration hinges on the principles of unity, truth, and the collective effort of all Ghanaian citizens.
He urged people of all faiths, particularly Christians, to embody generosity and compassion, especially towards those facing hardships.
President Mahama highlighted the disparities in society, acknowledging that while some individuals have enough, others struggle with physical, emotional, and material needs.
He called on those who are more fortunate to “learn to share the burdens of others,” reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He posed a question to the congregation, urging self-reflection on the sacrifices individuals are making for others.
In his concluding remarks, President Mahama reiterated his conviction in Ghana’s future, stating, “I believe with all my heart that our dear nation, Ghana, shall rise again. Our economy shall recover.
Our youth will find opportunity, and our families will flourish and thrive”. However, he stressed that achieving this vision necessitates collective work in unity and truth.
