Ghanaian journalist Kofi Adomah has been confirmed in stable condition after sustaining an eye injury due to an accidental musketry discharge during a ceremony in Dormaa.
The incident occurred during a traditional musketry display, and Kofi Adomah was reportedly positioned near the area of the firing.
He is currently in Dubai receiving urgent medical care to try and restore sight in one of his eyes.
A source close to the Kofi TV CEO said, “He’s now in Dubai, seeing to restoring the one eye that is blurry.
But it looks like the other one cannot see again.”
His wife, Miracle Adomah, expressed gratitude for the support and optimism for his recovery.

His former colleague, Afia Pokuaa, also confirmed his stable condition, describing the incident as an unfortunate accident involving musketry.
Afia Pokuaa urged Ghanaians to continue praying for Kofi’s full recovery and expressed gratitude to God for His mercies.
During the traditional event, some chiefs were firing muskets, and as Kofi Adomah was repositioning himself, gunpowder from one of the recently fired guns hit his face.

This caused serious damage to one of his eyes, leaving him unable to see. His other eye was also affected, leading to blurry vision.
He received initial medical attention in Ghana before being transferred to Dubai for specialized treatment.
